DevOps Engineer – Financial Crime
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong Azure expertise to support critical screening and compliance systems that ensure financial security. This role involves managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and optimizing system performance to prevent and detect fraudulent activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Azure-based infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment processes and tooling.
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security through proactive monitoring and optimization.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery and integration.
- Support and automate the integration of cloud-based screening applications.
- Provide rotational standby support, including after-hours and weekend availability.
- Oversee run & change processes for SaaS applications used in screening and fraud detection.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in DevOps with a focus on Azure infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (e.g., Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, SQL Database, Storage).
- Strong expertise in automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of networking, security, system administration, and incident monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk).
- Coding experience in Python, Java, R, YAML.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and related technologies (Oracle, WebSphere, Kafka, Fuse).
- Previous experience working with cloud-based SaaS solutions.
- Bonus: Knowledge of compliance, financial crime detection, and screening technologies.
