A proactive BMS professional with a “heart for IT” who finds energy in solving complex technical puzzles. We are seeking someone to manage, integrate, and optimize Building Management Systems (BMS) within the client’s operational landscape. You are an analytical thinker who thrives in Agile environments and can translate facilities and security requirements into robust technical solutions.
About the role
As an BMS Engineer, you are responsible for bridging the gap between business, facilities, and security requirements and technical BMS solutions (such as HVAC and Energy Management). You will act as the technical guardian of these systems, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly and securely into the corporate network.
You will:

Translate business, facilities, and security requirements into technical BMS solutions.

Onboard and integrate new BMS installations into the client’s network and operational landscape.

Perform technical risk assessments and vulnerability remediations for BMS devices, networks, and applications.

Monitor, maintain, test, and validate existing BMS solutions to ensure performance and reliability.

Collaborate with external suppliers, integrators, building managers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate implementation and lifecycle management.

Analyse and resolve incidents, bugs, and system malfunctions by collaborating with vendors and internal parties on fixes.

Ensure proper documentation, including architectural diagrams, operational procedures, and security assessments.

Work within a DevOps environment, continuously improving services and automating processes wherever possible.
Who are you?
Experience
-
Education: At least a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field.

BMS Knowledge: Proven experience with Building Management Systems and their integration.

Networking: Strong computer networking knowledge and experience.

DevOps: Experience working in an Agile DevOps environment using Scrum principles.

Automation: Knowledge of Azure CICD and the ability to automate end-to-end operational activities (certificate lifecycle, patching, etc.).

Standards: Knowledge of ITIL and experience using standard IT guidelines and best practices.

Pluses: Knowledge of ServiceNow, architectural principles, or specific security processes is highly considered.
