We are looking for a Business Data Analyst for a project at one of our clients in the financial sector. In this role you will be responsible for gathering and documenting detailed requirements for data management, quality, and functionality to ensure compliance on regulatory reporting and internal credit risk reports.
You will be responsible for gathering data requirements for prioritized BCBS 239 use cases. This will be followed by conducting workshops to elicit detailed data requirements. A comprehensive inventory of required data elements will be generated. The gathered data requirements will then be validated with stakeholders to confirm their accuracy and completeness. You will also be responsible for gathering data quality requirements for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency, and reliability. Specific metrics and thresholds for each dimension will be set, and data quality rules and validation checks will be developed in collaboration with data owners.
Relevant knowledge, skills, competences & desired education level
5+ years of working experience
Experience with gathering data (quality) requirements
Credit risk knowledge to be able to challenge requirements
Reporting experience
BCBS239 knowledge
