About the role
As an Observability Engineer you design, implement, and improve observability platforms for infrastructure, applications, and business metrics. You work closely with development and operations teams to embed monitoring and observability into daily workflows and delivery pipelines.
Your focus is on setting up dashboards, alerting, and automation, supporting the transition from traditional monitoring tools to modern observability solutions. You actively support troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and contribute to improving platform reliability and visibility.
The role offers room for technical ownership, initiative, and continuous development in a hands on engineering environment. Hybrid working and flexibility are part of the setup.
About you
* At least 3 years of hands on experience with monitoring or observability platforms
* Experience with modern observability tooling and migration from traditional monitoring solutions
* Practical experience with automation and infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or Ansible
* Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
* Familiarity with AI assisted development tools for scripting or automation
* Willingness to obtain a relevant observability or monitoring certification
* Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
