Platform Engineer (Payments)

ABOUT YOU
* Strong experience as a Platform or DevOps Engineer working with container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
* Solid understanding of cloud environments, automation, and monitoring in large-scale systems
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, or Maven and scripting using Bash or Unix
* Comfortable working in Agile environments with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security
* Able to work in high-pressure, production-critical environments with on-call or standby responsibilities

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
* Monitor and support production environments, ensuring high availability and reliability of critical systems
* Automate provisioning, testing, and deployment processes across container and non-container platforms
* Analyse application and database performance and implement improvements
* Enhance monitoring and alerting strategies, moving towards proactive and preventive approaches
* Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to reduce lead time and improve system performance

AN IDEAL PROFILE WOULD BE
* Experience with tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, or S3
* Background working in large, enterprise or regulated environments with a focus on compliance and security
* Familiarity with 24×7 production support and incident management
* Strong problem-solving mindset with a structured and disciplined approach
* Comfortable working in collaborative teams with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
