A Senior SailPoint IdentityIQ Consultant to spearhead the implementation and refinement of the client’s Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) framework. This is a crucial, high-impact technical role for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who can translate complex security and compliance requirements into robust, best-in-class IGA solutions. The ideal candidate will provide deep technical expertise and hands-on delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Implementation & Platform Architecture
End-to-End Deployment: Successfully deliver the complete SailPoint IdentityIQ platform, ensuring its configuration perfectly aligns with the client’s advanced security and governance objectives.
Critical System Integration: Establish robust, seamless integration channels between SailPoint and all mission-critical enterprise applications, directories, and cloud platforms for unified identity lifecycle management.
Optimization & Technical Customization
Advanced Workflow Automation: Design, engineer, and deploy highly complex, customized workflows to fully automate user lifecycle events, including intelligent provisioning, de-provisioning, and mandated access certification campaigns.
Policy and Entitlement Modeling: Architect and implement granular role-based access controls (RBAC), fine-grained entitlements, and dynamic access policies that enforce the client’s security posture.
Sustained Operations & Knowledge Transfer
Expert Troubleshooting: Provide continuous, high-level operational support and diagnostic expertise (Tier 2/3) to ensure the platform operates with maximum stability and performance.
Governance Enablement: Develop and lead comprehensive training programs for the internal IT and security teams, ensuring self-sufficiency, and maintain pristine, actionable technical documentation.
Metric Reporting & Data Integrity
Performance Monitoring: Implement tools and procedures for continuous monitoring and detailed reporting on key IGA performance metrics, driving efficiency and scalability improvements.
Identity Data Assurance: Oversee data quality and management strategies across all integrated sources to ensure the highest level of accuracy for all identity information.
About the Engagement
As the Senior SailPoint IGA Consultant, you will drive the technical execution and customization of the client’s IdentityIQ environment.
Core responsibilities include:
Serving as the primary technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all aspects of the SailPoint IdentityIQ product suite.
Leading solution design and deep-dive technical sessions with cross-functional teams (Security, Infrastructure, Application Owners).
Developing custom connectors, rules, forms, and beans using advanced programming skills in Java, Python, and scripting languages.
Integrating IdentityIQ with challenging or legacy systems, including HRIS, Active Directory, LDAP, and various IaaS/SaaS platforms.
Designing and executing custom access certification processes and implementing regulatory compliance controls.
Contributing to the overall security roadmap and architecture design.
Technical Expertise & Profile
Essential Experience
SailPoint Mastery: Extensive, demonstrated experience in architecting, configuring, and deploying complex, large-scale SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions (including all major modules).
Workflow Engineering: Deep, proven expertise in designing, coding, and debugging custom IdentityIQ workflows and lifecycle events.
System Integration: Practical experience integrating SailPoint with a wide variety of enterprise systems using multiple connector technologies (e.g., JDBC, Web Services, APIs).
Required Skills
Development Proficiency: Strong hands-on proficiency in Java development and advanced scripting with PowerShell and Python for customization and automation within the SailPoint environment.
IGA Fundamentals: Expert-level understanding of Identity Governance concepts, principles, and best practices (RBAC, PIM, Segregation of Duties).
Analytical Acumen: Exceptional analytical and technical problem-solving skills, with a track record of diagnosing and resolving high-impact security and platform issues.
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly to both technical resources and non-technical business leaders. Proven aptitude for managing and leading project streams within identity governance initiatives.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant technical field is strongly preferred.
