Senior Frontend Developer

About the role
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you are not only hands-on in development, but also play a key role in technical direction, mentoring, and frontend best practices.
Responsibilities
You will:

Design, develop, maintain, and refactor frontend applications using Vue.js (Vue3), JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and Web Components (Lit)

Ensure reusability (herbruikbaarheid) of components across multiple applications
-
Actively participate in the full development lifecycle:
refinement → technical design → implementation → release → incident support -
Collaborate closely with backend engineers (Python / FastAPI), designers, product owners, and QA
-
Work with Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and lifecycle management
-
Contribute to frontend modernization initiatives, including JavaScript → TypeScript migration

Provide technical leadership and mentorship, helping raise the overall frontend maturity of the team
Required Skills & Experience
Must-have
-
5+ years of frontend development experience

Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js (Vue3)

Solid knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS

Experience with Web Components (Lit)

Experience working in Scrum / Agile teams

Understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git workflows, automated deployments)

Experience working with multiple applications and API integrations

Strong communication skills and ability to coach and mentor peers
Nice-to-have

Experience with Azure Cloud

Familiarity with large-scale component libraries or Server-Driven UI

Exposure to tools such as Vigma, PrimeView, Emerald, Fitest

Experience or interest in financial services, online banking, or payment initiation
