We are currently in search of an experienced and highly skilled Business Data Analyst who specializes in Finance, Risk, and reporting processes to join one of our biggest banking clients via Levy Professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data processes, overseeing IT and data systems, and ensuring effective stakeholder management.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement streamlined data processes to support Risk and Finance functions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all systems.
- Oversee the entire data lifecycle, including data ingestion, integration, transformation, storage, and retrieval.
- Create and maintain data models to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
- Analyze complex datasets to extract valuable insights and provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate closely with IT teams to ensure the availability, security, and scalability of enterprise data platforms and systems.
- Understand stakeholder data needs and develop reporting solutions that meet their requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including finance teams, risk management teams, and executive leadership.
- Provide expertise on data management best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data governance, privacy, and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Data Analyst, specializing in Finance and Risk domains.
- Strong knowledge of financial and risk management processes, reporting requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in designing and managing enterprise data platforms, with a deep understanding of data architecture and infrastructure.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security frameworks is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
