We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join one of the biggest banks in The Netherlands, via Levy Professionals.
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of applications aimed at enhancing the overall experience of the bank’s risk monitoring journey. You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals dedicated to realizing the bank’s digital transformation, in close collaboration with strategic programs within other domains.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and security of a platform. The application you will be working on is globally used by employees, serving as a facilitator for the bank’s risk monitoring processes. Compliance is of utmost importance, as it ensures that risks are aligned with regulatory standards and the bank’s own risk appetite.
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing the functionality of the platform, while ensuring a fast turnaround time for change requests to go live. The system is currently transitioning to a cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and implement automated testing processes to ensure the stability and integrity of the platform.
- Utilize tools such as Selenium and Specflow for effective test automation.
- Demonstrate strong programming skills, particularly in C#, SQL, and PowerShell, to develop and maintain test scripts and frameworks.
- Conduct thorough testing of databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for seamless deployment and integration of new features.
- Develop and handle Splunk dashboards to monitor system performance and identify potential issues proactively.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in test automation, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly C#, SQL, and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with tooling such as Selenium and Specflow
- Experience in testing databases and ensuring data integrity.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
- Ability to create and handle Splunk dashboards for monitoring system performance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
