Senior Supply Chain Specialist | Long-Term Project | Financial Sector

As part of our team that follows DevOps and Agile methodologies, your role will focus on enhancing Supply Chain Security services through user stories. You will also handle occasional incident investigations. Your work will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including IT departments, business colleagues, and software suppliers. You will identify and implement improvements in team operations, contributing to the excellence of our service offerings and aligning with our expected DORA impact Your duties will be divided between the operational, day-to-day tasks, as well as functional actvities, such as project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Vendor Management: Oversee and manage IT vendor relationships, ensuring they meet security-related contractual obligations.
  • Vendor Security Risk Assessments: Conduct security risk assessments for vendors, prioritize significant risks, translate them into business contexts, and support stakeholders in addressing security challenges.
  • Risk Identification and Management: Ensure information security risks are effectively identified and managed throughout all stages of relationships with external vendors.
  • Quality Assurance Review: Assess the applicability and quality of assurance reports from third parties.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in reporting quality and third-party service delivery.
  • Contract Management: Manage the IT security aspects of contracts with third-party providers, collaborating with legal, compliance, procurement, and other internal teams on contractual changes.
  • Security Issue Resolution: Address security-related questions, take initiative, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Team Improvement: Identify and signal areas for improvement within the team, contributing to the enhancement of our service offerings.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity trends, information risks, and threats, sharing knowledge with colleagues and integrating relevant developments into the assessment program

Relevant Knowledge, Skills, Competencies & Desired Education Level

  • Project and Deliverable Setup: Experience in setting up projects and deliverables within supply chain security/TPSRM.
  • Risk Assessment: Proven experience in conducting information security risk assessments.
  • Security Expertise: Knowledge in areas such as security processes, technology architectures, network security, application security, and vulnerability management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in managing stakeholders.
  • Execution Power: Hands-on, self-organized, with a strong drive to complete tasks and deliver results.
  • Risk Translation: Ability to translate technical risks into business risks and vice versa.
  • Service Orientation: Enjoy taking on an internal consultancy role, demonstrating a strong service-oriented mindset.
