6 Month Initial Contral – Multiple Extensions Possible
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Understand products across Credit Direct Lending, CLO Management, Structured Credit and Strategic Opportunities financing solutions along with Buyout and Growth investments made by Private Equity teams including their interactions with third-parties.
* Understand the investor base, how this differs across our product and their needs from a technology standpoint.
* Support the implementation of SaaS Platforms, PowerBi based reporting solutions and Data Integrations along with all associated business process change from a business analysis perspective.
* Identify and document, using UML Component and Activity Diagrams processes operated by the business team with a focus on data sources and outputs, these processes will cover all strategies, and support the implementation of new systems to automate manual and excel based processed.
* Analyse the documented processes and interactions to identify potential inefficiencies and synergies across the operations of these processes and propose options for improvement.
* Identify process automation opportunities and propose potential solutions in consultation with Architecture.
* Investigate business requirements, problems, and opportunities; seek effective solutions through improvements in products or services, information management, processes, practices, and organisational design.
* Develop a clear understanding of each project, including objectives, scope and success criteria.
* Working with existing tools/systems used to drive information presented to internal and external stakeholders.
* Liaise with other internal and external teams to raise awareness of any processes changes and manage impact.
* Develop and deliver appropriate test strategies to support the implementation of any new systems or processes.
* Responsible for owning and escalating as appropriate risks, issues, and dependencies to the Project Manager.
* Have the confidence to appropriately challenge stakeholders and determine the most appropriate solution.
* Use general knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements and corporate policies involving risk and controls to support the development of improved business processes through technology
DESIRED LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS / CHARACTERISTICS
The role is an opportunity for an experienced Contract Business Analyst with an entrepreneurial and creative mindset, to work closely with internal and external stakeholders delivering a number of high visibility projects.
* Minimum 5 years’ financial services experience
* Experience implementing new SaaS based client / investor facing portals.
* Experience interpreting API documentation (e.g. via Postman) to design integration requirements between applications. Understanding of JSON and XML files will be required.
* Confident in analysing data sets in Snowflake using T-SQL to support analysis of requirements and solution definition.
* Ability to manage allocation to multiple concurrent projects with international project teams.
* Pro-active and able to work independently or as part of a small team.
* Ability to create UML Activity Diagrams to communicate process flows.
* Ability to create UML Component Diagrams to communicate systems, personas, and their interactions.
* Fluent in Agile, confident in articulating requirements as Epics, User Stories and coaching business teams on the methodology.
* An appreciation of Compliance and Risk in relation to project delivery and solution development.
* Experience of working with internal and external third-party vendors to ensure business requirements are delivered within agreed timescales.
* Ability to negotiate pragmatic solutions that meet conflicting business requirements.
* Good technical knowledge and ability to translate between IT and the business.
* Awareness of full project life cycle including defining user requirements, defining test scenarios and user acceptance testing
